I have a dream someone once suggested, our dream at Scheduly is to deliver a fully customized system from the smallest text up to the biggest logo. The first step of the revolution has just began, today we are happy to deliver a new version, more powerful but yet simple with an out standing email template feature.

As simple as that, you are able to personalize the emails that are sent to your clients with any text of your choice (as long as it’s appropriate), within the email text we allow to add dynamic parameters, such :as client name, service name, appointment date, etc…

It is just the start and we will be happy to get your comments / suggestions / inputs directly to our facebook account or via email

Sometimes when you turn on the light you are still standing in the dark, in order to provide a good service one must ask himself the right question. Often people confuse between a calendar and online appointment scheduling, from a human perspective they are both simple tasks of planning my daily agenda but from a customer point of view sharing a Google calendar in order to book an appointment is a complicated task. Sharing or duplicating a calendar is exactly what I mean by turning on the light, it doesn’t really solve the problem.

Building up a calender and tag it “online appointment scheduling software” doesn’t really do the job, a calendar role is to assist you to organize your day properly, there are plenty of calendars out there, such as: Google Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, Microsoft outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, 30boxes, Apple iCal, etc…

Online appointment scheduling is a totally new field of expertise, the synergy between a calendar and online appointment scheduling solution is perfect - one complete the other and together they provide a full suite for the small business owner needs.

We at Scheduly believe that the calendar is just the start, managing the agenda is the real challenge, which we’re on Scheduly making it better, every single day.

The problem should be solved by providing a smart extension to the existing calendars in the form of smart online scheduling, from Scheduly you are able to sync your Google, outlook and iCal calendars easily. We are the only company that doesn’t force you to double manage calendars, more than that we do not provide you the option for a secondary calendar at Scheduly. If you have a calendar and you wish to keep working with it you reached the right place, check us out at www.scheduly.com (no credit card required / 90 days free).

We started Scheduly at the end of 2006, just like everyone else - we talked about it.. and talked… and talked… Eventually (Thanks to Tivony, Shaike and Gili) on February 2008 we actually launched our first beta version - which is a very primitive form of Scheduly as it is known today.

From my point of view the most unique thing about Scheduly is the team behind the scene, not only that we trust one each other we are also dedicated and committed to improve Scheduly from one week to another - we manged to develop a unique work methodology that is driven from users requests and inputs, the work plan is based on a Bi-Monthly plan that we build and optimize every month. Eventually we managed to develop a system that was fully funded from our pockets and kept the cash flow at minimum, the final result of Scheduly today is something we are very proud of.

Today Scheduly is at the first row with the most successful online appointment scheduling systems and you are welcome to visit us at www.scheduly.com or check our features list at www.scheduly.com/features.aspx

This post is just a starter before dinner (with good wine of course), in the next posts I will explore the market, competition, strategy, vision and Scheduly Unique Selling Proposition.
